Email Series - Learning With Leune

This email series (40 in total!) was created to accompany a series of bite-sized videos featuring Dr. Scott Leune, founder of the wildly successful Breakaway Seminars.

Each video clocks in at under 10 minutes and focuses on helping dentists overcome their biggest pain points.

Primarily used as a tool to upsell engaged leads to attend one of his seminars, these emails & videos also became a successful tool for brand awareness.

Dear {name_here},

What if I told you I had the answer to what’s blocking your success, and it’s not what you think it is.

Would you believe me?

You should. Because I do know what’s blocking you from achieving the success you dream of — and it isn’t because you haven’t learned the right system or how to answer your phones a particular way.

It’s not the state you’re in, your skill set, or even your rate of case acceptance.

These things are the easy part. And what you're battling is far greater than any of them.

Can you guess what it is?

Curious to find out how you can unblock the road to success?

Check out today’s 3-minute Learning With Leune video.

(Spoiler alert: You’re in for a big surprise!)

Wishing you the success you dream of, {name_here}.

Sincerely,

EMAIL TWO: THE ART OF DELEGATION

Subject:

Did You Know There Is an Art to Successful Delegation, {name_here}?

Pre-header:

This 3-minute video explains it all!

Copy:

Dear {name_here},

There is a big difference between asking someone to do something for us and successfully delegating a task or responsibility to a member of our team.

Do you know how I know that?

Because the number of times I asked someone in my office to do something, and it either didn’t get done or didn’t get done right, was so high I lost count.

But then a lightbulb went off when I realized something.

Like everything else, successful delegation requires a successful process and system.

I know what you’re thinking. It’s up to me to learn how to delegate if I want things done right. Short answer? Yes.

And that’s what today’s 3-minute Learning With Leune video is all about.

Remember, in moments of conflict, behavior changes. So put on your assertive hat and let’s get started!

Wishing you the success you dream of, {name_here}.

Sincerely,

EMAIL THREE: HOLDING YOUR TEAM ACCOUNTABLE

Subject:

Are You Struggling to Hold Your Team Accountable, {name_here}?

Pre-header:

This 3-minute video explains it all!

Dear {name_here},

What do successful dental practices have in common with Fortune 500 companies?

The best practices know their teams need to do their jobs right.

They have a litmus test for holding their teams accountable.

Because without grading that test, we can’t hold people accountable. Not for simple tasks (and certainly not for vital tasks) critical to the successful functioning of our dental practices.

Holding your team accountable is not about becoming the office ogre. But you must clarify your expectations in no uncertain terms. A task that many of us find uncomfortable at best.

In today’s Learning With Leune video, I talk about a simple process you can implement to hold your team accountable — to you and one another.

Let’s dive in, {name_here}!

Sincerely,

Dr. Scott Leune

EMAIL FOUR: THE MORNING HUDDLE

Subject:

The Morning Huddle Is More Important Than You Think, {name_here}

Pre-header:

This video tells you why

Copy:

Dear {name_here},

A lot of dental practices see the morning huddle as little more than an opportunity to go through a laundry list of things to do that day.

But your morning huddle is much more than that.

An opportunity to clear out the cobwebs and turn your team’s attention to what is important that day, an effective huddle can mean the difference between a mediocre day and a great one.

A morning huddle is also the perfect time to:

  • Show some appreciation for your team.

  • Figure out what is vital to the practice on a daily basis.

  • Review anything you’re measuring.

  • Talk strategy for same-day dentistry.

In today’s Learning With Leune video, I remind you of all the ways you can improve your morning huddle, where to focus your energy, and how to maximize this time to get the biggest return on investment.

Sincerely,

EMAIL FIVE: ARE YOU BOOKED OUT TOO FAR?

Subject:

How Far Is Too Far to Be Booked Out, {name_here}?

Pre-header:

Learn the secret in today’s video

Copy:

Dear {name_here},

Did you know that if you’re booked out more than a certain number of business days, you’re not just skirting the danger zone for less profit — you’re IN the heart of the danger zone itself!

And trust me when I say you do not want to be in that danger zone.

It’s the precursor to missed revenue, soaring no-show rates, and lower-than-usual production.

Unless you make one of two choices.

In today’s Learning With Leune video, I will tell you how far is too far when it comes to your schedule being booked out, as well as what you can do to turn it around if you do find yourself in that predicament.

(Spoiler alert: it involves two sides of the same coin.)

Sincerely,

Dr. Scott Leune

EMAIL SIX: IMPROVING THE NEW PATIENT EXPERIENCE

Subject:

How Do You Improve the New Patient Experience, {name_here}?

Pre-header:

Find out in today’s video

Copy:

Dear {name_here},

We all want every new patient to be so wowed by us that they can’t help but talk about us to their friends and family, provide a five-star review, and pay their bill.

But there’s more to it than great quality care.

How do I know that? Because my experience working with hundreds of dental practices has taught me so, that’s how.

Over the years, my team and I have developed what is akin to a scientific approach to improving the new patient experience. And it works.

I call it the layering method because it involves looking for spots in the patient experience where we can layer additional benefits.

From heated neck pillows to scheduling from the chair, we have identified every possibility for improving their time with us.

And in this week’s Learning With Leune video, I share some of the most effective ways we do this, so you can, too.

Sincerely,

Dr. Scott Leune

EMAIL SEVEN: HOW TO AVOID BURNOUT

Subject:

Do You Know How to Avoid Burnout, {name_here}?

Pre-header:

Find out in today’s video

Copy:

Dear {name_here},

Burnout is not the result of a single area of your practice. It is a culmination of several different areas and responsibilities, each of which has a series of best practices.

So what does that tell us?

That burnout is avoidable (and treatable), not inevitable.

In today’s Learning With Leune video, I go over which areas of your practice are most likely to put pressure on you, what to focus on to avoid burnout, and where it makes the most sense to dedicate the bulk of your time and energy.

No one wants to start their day hating what they do, and I’m here to help ensure that never happens.

Sincerely,

Dr. Scott Leune
